Life Together On Mission – Trials – James 1:1-4

“Consider it pure joy when you endure trials of many and various kinds.”  How does that work?Theologian and pastor Tim Keller says, “In the secular view, suffering is never seen as a meaningful part of life but only as an interruption.”  “But suffering is actually at the heart of the Christian story.”   When we find ourselves joining that story, that’s when we can begin to discover the great redemptive purposes God has for us in the trials we face.

This is the first in a series as we work through the book of James and gain insight from God’s Word about Life Together following Jesus.  (19 minutes recorded at the end of the day).
