Christmas and New Years are behind us. The season calls us to eat, drink, and be merry. I hope that happened. But tomorrow let us take some time to FAST and PRAY! This year’s focus is to pray for and seek God’s vision for your missional community. For some, when you read “missional community”, you know exactly who that is. Others of you aren’t sure. For our purposes, your missional community are the people you connect with regularly, who stir you up to love and good deeds, and for whom you do the same. We draw our definition from Hebrews 10:25, which says, “Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but rather let us come together all the more so that we might stir one another up to love and good deeds.”
Who do you connect with regularly to get stirred up?
If you don’t have a group like that – use this time of prayer and fasting to ask God to give you a group like that – or to open your eyes to the missional community he’s already given you.
Who is in your missional community? -OR- Who do you know who stirs you up to love and good deeds?
Write their names in a journal or on a piece of paper.
Pray for them each day.
