Our missional communities function very much like micro churches with shared leadership. Churches need leadership, whether large or small. The leadership structure is pretty simple. Every MC has leaders and hosts. Leaders have responsibility for shepherding a missional community toward health, and passing on discipleship. Most of the decisions and leadership for the activities for the missional community are made with the leader and the hosts working together. Over time, the hosts become the leaders. In addition, an elder will be selected from the leaders and hosts to help guide FCMC.
