Kris and Kent love seeing people enjoy fellowship and grow in God’s grace in their home. For a number of years, they have opened their home to friends, family, guests from out of the country and youth groups. They’ve hosted lunches, dinners, game nights, sing-a-longs and parties. Numerous locals and visitors alike have enjoyed their hospitality, warmth, and friendship. They are excited to see God’s work expanding in their home as they host the Cimarrone Missional Community.
Their children – Alesandra and Stefan – are musically gifted and also take part in many of the missional community activities. Both are students at Bartram Trail High School.
Kent and Kris love the scriptures and love to learn as well as teach. Through involvement in mission activities and mission trips, they came into contact with the work of Vida Joven (Young Life) both here and in Esteli, Nicaragua. The joy and encouragement they experienced through meeting people involved in the ministry of Vida Joven made it very natural to want to find a way to give back. Along with Heather Alexander, they are leading the Cimarrone Missional Community focused on supporting and raising awareness of the work of Young Life here on the First Coast.
