Sunday Message – Anger Adjustments – James 1:19-22

Do you ever get angry? Do you say or do things in anger you later wish you hadn’t done? There’s a lot of anger today, but it’s nothing new. 2,000 years ago, Jesus brother James gave some very practical and transformational instruction to followers of Jesus about dealing with anger.

Anger unleashed can damage and even destroy relationships. It can set us back on mission, bring an end to discipling relationships, and undermine or even break strategic partnerships. On the other hand, the Bible makes it clear that there are things that make God angry! In the gospels, we see Jesus getting angry, and he is our example to follow! So how do we adjust bring our anger under the Lordship of Jesus? That’s where James can help!

By the way, for Facebook users, we have created a group for these messages called Pastor Jesse Alexander. It’s an open group. Join the group and you’ll be notified anytime a message is posted there. LinkedIn and Twitter still happen automatically, and you can always follow this page. Anger Adjustments – James 1:19-22 – 16-1/2 minutes.
