Here’s a little story about catching fish, breakfast on the beach, and an encounter that can changed history! It helps us know that when we follow Jesus, there’s no reason to think that our failures are final or that our regrets cannot be redeemed. The resurrected Lord changes everything. (15 minutes)
This Friday is Good Friday. We are returning to a wonderful tradition that helps us get our hearts ready for Easter – and you are invited! We will gather at Mickler’s Landing before sunrise. (Bring your own breakfast this year.) We’ll take some time to remember Jesus and all he has done for us and worship together. We’ll be singing as the sun comes up!
It’s Palm Sunday. Have you noticed how Jesus takes action in the temple right after his big welcome into Jerusalem? How are his actions in step with the priorities of God’s Kingdom? What can we learn from how Jesus responded when he saw problems in the temple and people resisting him and his mission? If we are willing to align our mission with Jesus’ kingdom priorities, what should we expect to happen? Matthew 21: 12-17 (16-1/2 minutes).

LFC Sunday Message:
How did Jesus begin his mission and ministry? How much does our mission and our ministry look like his? Put yourself in the shoes of his very first disciples and see what you come away with. Then imitate them and go do it. Let me encourage you on this point. It may require some major reorienting of your life but it’s worth it! (About 11 minutes).
What if God is sending us “distractions from mission” strategically? What if he is sending them to reveal his glory, to advance his kingdom, and to lead us to partners on mission? Today, you are invited to put yourself in the place of one of his disciples and pay attention to what Jesus does. (14 minutes)

Good Friday Worship Gathering: We are gathering before sunrise at the Mickler’s Landing for fellowship and worship as the sun comes up. Sunrise is at 7:13 am. It’s a good idea to get there about an hour early. This year, it’s bring your own breakfast.
